TDX: How to submit a ticket

Question

How can I request assistance from IT or OCM using the TeamDynamix portal?

Answer

  1. Select Submit a Ticket under ITS or OCM depending on which department you are trying to submit a request for.
  2. The service catalog will be listed and you can navigate into the categories to find the service you require, or you can type in the search box in the top right corner to find the service you need. As you start typing, results will be suggested using predictive text.
  3. The service page you select will list information about the service and any special information that may help with your request. Select the green button on the right that says Request Service or Report a Problem.
  4. You will be prompted to sign in using the following;
    • Students use: YourStarID@go.minnstate.edu and StarID password.
    • Employees use: YourStarID@minnstate.edu and StarID password.
  5. Please complete the form as fully as possible and select Submit at the bottom of the form.
  6. You will receive an email notification that your ticket has been received which will have a link to your submission that you can follow to view your ticket at anytime.
