Plug your computer into the USB-C cable at the instructor station to project in the room.

Tap the larger touch panel on the instructor podium to select the input to display on the projector screen.

The USB-C cable is the only one needed to control this room and to access the in-room cameras and microphones. If Wireless is selected to connect the computer, no cable is required to connect the laptop to the projector screen up front. However, this option does not include access to the camera or microphones; to utilize those options, the USB-C cable must be connected.

Suppose you have the USB-C cable connected to your computer and are unable to project in the room. In that case, the computer is likely missing a necessary driver to utilize the technology in the room. For instructions to install that driver, go to the DisplayLink Installation Knowledge Base article for assistance.

Catch Box Microphone:

The green foam cube with the BSU logo on it is a new wireless microphone in the room called a Catch Box. When the cube is on the base, you can see the lights on the base to indicate the charged state of the microphone. To activate, pick it up off the base. If the microphone is off the base, the microphone is live.

This microphone is intended to throw to audience members to allow them to participate in lectures or discussions.
