How to connect a Windows laptop to a projector or TV monitor:

1.  Turn on the projector or TV monitor, and then connect the laptop.

2.  Press Windows key + P to see your screen/projection options:

Projector options

  • PC screen only – The connected screen is ignored and only your laptop display is used.
  • Duplicate – The laptop display is mirrored on the connected screen.
  • Extend – The connected screen is used as a second monitor. Windows can be dragged between the laptop display and the connected screen.
  • Second screen only – The laptop display is disabled, only the connected screen is used.
