Internet Guardian is a Malware and phishing protection service operated and maintained by Minnesota State IT Services’ security team.
The service helps protect students, faculty and staff against phishing attempts and malicious software on web sites. Internet Guardian identifies and tracks web sites that host malicious software and phishing links, then blocks access to those sites.
The software works at the network level and nothing needs to be installed on your computer to enable this protection. Internet Guardian works with all devices connected to BSU/NTC networks.
