How do I properly shut down a Toshiba MFD?
Answer
The directions below will show you how to properly shut down a Toshiba MFD. This is a 2-step process.
Toshiba Color Printer:
1. Locate the printer you want/need to turn off.
2. Press the Power button on the screen and choose Shutdown. WAIT until the blinking light stops.
3. After the blinking light stops, locate the power switch on the back right-hand side of the printer. Switch that to off.
4. You've now successfully shut down the printer. To turn back on, flip the switch and it will power up.
Toshiba Black and White Printer:
1. Locate the printer you want/need to turn off.
2. Press the Power button on the screen and choose Shutdown. WAIT until the blinking light stops.
3. After the blinking light stops, locate the power switch by opening the first front panel of the printer. The power switch is located on the left side. Switch that to off.
4. You've now successfully shut down the printer. To turn back on, flip the switch and it will power up.
