Logging in to WordPress Dashboard as a site Editor

Who can use it?

Employees with Editor access to one of our sites.


After your request has been approved and your account has been enabled as an editor use the following steps to log in to WordPress.

  1. Go to www.bemidjistate.edu or www.ntcmn.edu.
  2. Navigate to "MyBSU" or "MyNTC". A link is at the top right corner of the page on larger screens. On smaller screens the link is in the main navigation.
  3. Select the type of account you are using to log in from the drop down.
  4. Enter your credentials in to the login form:
    • username: StarID
    • password: your StarID password
  5. Once logged in, a toolbar bar will appear at the top of the page. This toolbar should include a "WordPress" menu item. Within this menu will be a list of sites you have permission to edit. Use the WordPress menu to navigate to the site you want to access and click on "Dashboard". This will bring you to the admin dashboard.
