Logging in to the WordPress Dashboard as a site Editor

Who can use it?

Employees with Editor access to one of our sites.

Instructions

After your request has been approved and your account has been enabled as an editor use the following steps to log in to WordPress.

  1. Go to www.bemidjistate.edu or www.ntcmn.edu.
  2. Navigate to "MyBSU" or "MyNTC". On larger screens a is at the top right corner of the page. On smaller screens the link is in the main navigation.
  3. Select the type of account you are using to log in from the drop down. It should be "BSU Employee" or "NTC Employee" depending on where you are employed.
  4. Enter your credentials in to the login form:
    • username: StarID
    • password: your StarID password
  5. Once logged in, a toolbar bar will appear at the top of the page. This toolbar should include a "WordPress" menu item. Navigate to the site you want to edit then use the top bar to navigate to the dashboard of your site under WordPress > [Site Name] > Dashboard.
