How to install and sign into the Zoom Workplace app the first time.

Answer

  1. Go to the Zoom website: https://minnstate.zoom.us
  2. At the bottom of the page click Download Client.
  3. This will open the Download Center where you can click Download under Zoom Client for meetings.                
  4. Save and run the file.
  5. Then click Sign In.
  6. On the Zoom Sign in screen under "or sign in with" click SSO (Single Sign On).

  7. On the Sign In with SSO dialog box type Minnstate in the Company Domain box and then click Continue

    Sign in with SSO enter MinnState and Continue
     
  8. A browser window will open and you will be prompted to sign in using your Microsoft credentials. Students use StarID@go.minnstate.edu, employees use StarID@minnstate.edu. A multi-factor authentication process will begin.
  9. In the Launch Application box, click Zoom to select it and then check the box to Remember my choice for Zoom mtg links and click Open Link.
  10. You will then be logged into the Zoom Workplace app for meetings, phone, chat, contacts, and more.
