Windows 10 Connecting to Remote Access Labs
1. Open a browser and navigate to: https://remoteaccess.labstats.com/bemidji-state-university.html

2. You will see a window that looks like the one below.

3. Click on the connect button next to the workstation you would like to use. You will be prompted to download a file. Click on the Download button and a file will be downloaded to your default location.

4. Find the file that was downloaded. It should be named similar to the name of the computer you clicked the connect button next to (example: if you clicked connect next to S248W23, the file will be called S248W23.rdp) Double-click the file to open it. You will see a window that looks similar to the following. Click the Connect button.

5. Enter your credentials in the fashion of StarID@live.bemidjistate.edu then click OK.

6. You will see a dialog open stating that you are connecting to the RDP host “S248WXX.bemidji.bemidjistate.edu” (where XX is the station number) and that the identity could not be verified. When asked “Do you want to connect despite these certificate errors?”, click Yes.

7. You will see a screen similar to the one you would be presented when you log into one of the lab computers. You should now be logged into the computer and may use any of the applications as if you were in the lab.

8. When you have completed your work, click on the Start/Windows menu and log off just as you would if you were in the lab.
