South Conference Room is a technology equipped conference room that seats 12 people and is equipped with a large TV and videoconferencing system.
Connecting a laptop via cable (TV HDMI input 1)
- Turn on the TV by pressing the power button on the remote.
- Connect the HDMI cable that extends from the wall plate to the laptop. A USB-C port adapter is available.
- If the laptop display is not shown, press the input button on the remote and select input HDMI1. Configure the laptop to send output to a second display.
Connecting a laptop wirelessly (TV HDMI input 3)
- This option is for faculty and staff accounts only. Students and guests will not be able to use this feature.
- Turn on the TV by pressing the power button on the remote.
- Press the TV remote input button and select HDMI 3.
- An Airtame screen will appear with a web URL and a code to enter at that URL (www.airtame.com/go).
- Enter the code on the web site and then choose what you want to share on your laptop.
Other devices
- A Blu-ray DVD player or a document camera can be brought to the room if needed. Please request the use of this equipment when you reserve the room.
Turn off system
- Press the power button on the remote to turn off the TV. The screen will go black when the cable is disconnected, but it will still be on.
- Carefully coil up the HDMI cable and place it on the hook, being careful not to kink or yank the cable or the USB-C adapter.
