Connecting a laptop at the stage-right station
This room uses a single USB-C cable connection at the stage-right station for all room functions. Use the Laptop input on the touch panel to deploy the projector screens and activate the room equipment.
If the Wireless input is selected on the touch panel, no cable is required to connect the computer to the projectors. However, this option does not include access to the cameras; to utilize the room cameras, the USB-C cable must be connected.
If you have the USB-C cable connected to your laptop and you don't see your desktop on the rear TV, your laptop is likely missing a necessary driver to utilize this additional display. To install that driver, check out the DisplayLink installation KB article.
Connecting at stage-center
Stage center is unique to Hagg Sauer 150. It offers a second location for connecting a laptop. The major difference is that the connection is for audio/video to the projectors only. It does not allow connecting to the cameras in the room for videoconferencing.
At the center stage podium, there is a single HDMI cable with a USB-C adaptor. Use this like any other classroom connection, with the knowledge that all control remains at the stage right instructor station touch panel.

To Adjust the In-Room Cameras:
Tap the Camera button in the top right corner of the touch-panel to access the in-room camera controls. This is where you can zoom in or out. You can also turn on or off the camera tracking feature for the Instructor or Audience camera. The tracking feature on these cameras is activated by motion sensing, not voice or sound-activated.

To Adjust the In-Room Microphones:
Tap the Microphone button in the top right corner of the touch-panel to access the in-room microphone controls. This allows you to mute the ceiling microphones in the room, ensuring that only the wireless microphone is heard over the room and in Zoom/Teams calls from the room.

Catch Box Microphone:
The green foam cube with the BSU logo on it is a new wireless microphone in the room called a Catch Box. When the cube is on the base, you can see the lights on the base to indicate the charged state of the microphone. To activate, pick it up off the base. If the microphone is off the base, the microphone is live.
This microphone is intended to throw to audience members to allow them to participate in lectures or discussions.
