Retake Incorrect Questions Only
This feature allows students to retake their incorrectly answered questions from previous quiz attempts.

Edit the Quiz

On the right side of the page, select Attempts & Completion

In the Attempts section, select Manage Attempts and change the number of Attempts allowed to 2 or more

Select Apply

Check the box under Retake Incorrect Questions Only

Select an Overall Grade Calculation (i.e., Highest/Lowest/ Average/First/Last). This determines what score is recorded in the Gradebook.

Select Save

Be sure to check your Submission view tab of the quiz to set what students see when they submit their quiz. For example, you may wish to change the Default View to NOT show any questions and then set up an Additional View to show questions after the 2nd attempt is completed.
NOTE: If a quiz is set to be automatically graded (i.e., the quiz score is visible to students immediately after taking the quiz), Written Response questions will be marked as zero (0) and will be included in future Retake Incorrect Questions Only quiz attempts until these questions are graded by the teacher.
