Before you return your BSU/NTC owned iPhone or iPad we ask that you sign out of your Apple ID on the device, here are instructions on how to do that.

Answer

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap [your name]
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign out.
4. Enter your Apple ID password and tap Turn Off.

Why is it so important to sign out of my Apple ID account on a device I'm returning?

• When you sign out of Apple ID, any data stored in iCloud will be removed from your device but will remain in iCloud.
• Since you need to enter your Apple ID password to turn it off we (ITS) appreciate if you can do that before you return an iPhone or iPad to us. There are other ways around it, but it is always easier if you sign out before the device is returned.
