AIRC 127: Zoom Classroom with Tracking Camera

AIRC 127 is a Zoom Room that seats 12 people in two rows of tables and chairs.

This room has two TV monitors on the front of the room and on the back wall. These monitors can be configured to show Zoom participants and various forms of content shared at the instructor podium. The output of the monitors is the same front and back. The instructor camera (the white camera located on the back wall) has tracking capability. The classroom camera (the black camera above the front wall TVs) has multi-streaming for highlighting active participants in the room during Zoom sessions. All camera controls are operated through the Zoom controller touch panel at the podium.

Sharing content in the room wirelessly without starting a Zoom meeting
  • Ensure the TVs are turned on using the SHARP remote control.
  • Open your laptop and the Zoom Workplace application. Click the Home icon to see the meeting controls.
  • Click the Share screen icon:
  • Zoom application share screen icon is a blue button with a white box inside with an arrow pointing up.
  • Your laptop should connect to the room wirelessly, and you may share anything on your computer.
  • You will be able to configure what is shown on each front (or rear) TV. You can show the same content, or different content on each.

  • Connect your laptop to the HDMI cable at the podium. A USB-C adapter is provided.

Sharing the document camera content
  • Ensure the TVs are turned on using the SHARP remote control.
