Bridgeman 100 is a hyflex classroom that seats 100 people and is equipped with a Zoom system, projector, sound system, document camera, DVD player, two wireless microphones, and a touch panel control system.
Connecting a laptop
- Turn on the touch panel by tapping it anywhere.
- Ensure your laptop is on, and tap the laptop input on the touch panel.
- Connect the HDMI cable that extends from the top of the cabinet to the correct port on your laptop. A USB-C adapter is provided.
- If the laptop display is not projected, configure the laptop to send output to a second display. Windows key + P will bring up display options on Windows machines.
- Adjust the volume on the touch panel if playing audio or including a remote audience.
Using Zoom in the room
- Turn on the touch panel by tapping it anywhere.
- Tap the PC input button to bring up the Zoom room application. You do not need to connect your laptop at the podium. You may share your content wirelessly to the Zoom room.
- Use the larger Zoom control touch panel to adjust the cameras, the sound, and the view of your meeting.
- Ensure you have not joined the meeting with audio on your laptop, as an audio feedback loop with occur. Let the room handle the microphone, speakers, and cameras for the meeting.
Using the DVD player
- Turn on the touch panel by tapping it anywhere.
- Tap the DVD input button.
- Open the cabinet, insert the DVD disc and press play on the touch screen panel.
- Adjust the volume on the touch panel.
Using the document camera
- Turn on the touch panel by tapping it anywhere.
- Turn on the document camera.
- Tap the document camera input button on the touch panel.
- Place the document or item to be shown within the field of view of the document camera. Adjust zoom and light as needed.
Turn off system
- Tap the shut down button on the touch panel.
- Confirm or cancel the shutdown.
- The touch panel and connected devices will go to sleep shortly.
