Hagg Sauer 116 is a hyflex classroom seating 140 people at rows of rolling tables and chairs.

Connecting a laptop
This room uses a single USB-C cable connection for all room functions. Use the Laptop input on the touch panel to deploy the projector screens and activate the room equipment.
If the Wireless input is selected on the touch panel, no cable is required to connect the computer to the projectors. However, this option does not include access to the camera, microphones, or rear TV; to utilize those options, the USB-C cable must be connected.
If you have the USB-C cable connected to your laptop and you don't see your desktop on the rear TV, your laptop is likely missing a necessary driver to utilize this additional display. To install that driver, check out the DisplayLink installation KB article.
The rear TV is designed to be an extension of your laptop's desktop. Just like at your office desk with multiple monitors, you can move windows to this display by dragging them left or right (depending on where your laptop OS has virtually located this display).
- One specific use could be to drag your Zoom participant window to this TV so you can see them as part of your class. You can configure Zoom to open the participant panel in its own window, rather than a tab.
- You could also use the rear TV for PowerPoint notes, although this requires some testing prior to your class period, as PowerPoint forces extended displays into specific roles depending on how you have setup your slideshow.

Using Zoom for lecture recording or remote audiences
- Connect your laptop using the USB-C cable. Ensure the Laptop input is selected on the touch panel.
- Open your Zoom Workplace app and begin your meeting.
- When prompted to connect audio and video devices, choose the following:
- Audio - microphone: TesiraFORTE echo cancelling
- Audio - speaker: Crestron
- Video - Aver TR211 camera (facing the instructor, with tracking), or Aver CAM570 (facing the audience)
- Test your audio selections by clicking the "^" caret symbol next to the audio microphone icon in Zoom. Choose the Test speaker & microphone option. You may need to adjust your audio device selections based on that test.
Adjusting the cameras:
Tap the Cameras button in the top right corner of the touch-panel to access the in-room camera controls. This is where you can zoom in or out. You can also turn on or off the camera tracking feature for the Instructor or Audience camera. The tracking feature on these cameras is activated by motion sensing, not voice or sound-activated. Tracking is best used when there is only one person presenting.

Adjusting the microphones:
Tap the Microphone button in the top right corner of the touch-panel to access the in-room microphone controls. This allows you to mute the ceiling microphones in the room, ensuring that only the wireless microphone is heard over the room and in Zoom/Teams calls from the room.

Using the wireless input
- Tap the Wireless input button on the touch panel. Note that room mics and cameras are not available to your laptop when using the wireless input.
- Look at the image on the left or right projector screen, which will provide a 5-character code.
- Go to https://www.airtame.com/go on your laptop and enter the code.
- You will be asked to choose what you want to share, and you can choose windows, browser tabs, or your entire screen.
- Be sure to check the "share audio" option if your content includes audio.
Using the document camera
- Tap the Document Camera input on the touch panel.
- Ensure the doc cam is turned on (blue lights).
- Place the item(s) to be shown below the doc cam lens and use the doc cam remote or base controls to zoom and illuminate your points of focus.
Using the Blu-ray player
- Tap the Blu-ray input on the touch panel.
- Open the cabinet (you may need your classroom key) and locate the Denon Blu-ray player. Turn it on.
- Open the disc tray and place your DVD.
- Use the controls on the touch panel or the Denon remote to control playback.
