Plug the USB-C cable into your laptop at the instructor station to project in the room.

For instructions on how to install that driver, go to the DisplayLink Driver installation article.

The USB-C cable is the only one needed to display in this room and to access the videoconferencing cameras and microphones. If the Wireless input is selected on the touch panel, no cable is required to connect the laptop to the projector. However, the wireless option does not allow access to the camera or microphones; to utilize those devices, the USB-C cable must be connected, and the room devices must be selected in Zoom during the meeting start-up.

To Adjust the In-Room Cameras:

Tap the Cameras button in the top right corner of the touch panel to access the camera controls.

  1. Select your active camera - Instructor-facing or Audience-facing.
  2. Turn on or off the camera tracking feature for the Instructor camera. The tracking feature is activated by a focus point and its motion, not by sound or voice.
  3. When tracking is turned off, the pan/tilt/zoom buttons become available for adjustment.
  4. Tap the Cameras button again to return to the main touch panel screen.

To Adjust the In-Room Microphones:

Tap the Microphone button in the top right corner of the touch-panel to access the in-room microphone controls.

  1. If using the wireless lapel mic found at the instructor station, ensure the device itself is turned on and unmuted before adjusting these controls.
  2. Adjust the muting and sensitivity of the wireless lapel mic to suit your voice and positioning.
  3. Turn on/off the muting of the ceiling mics in the room when you do not want local audience participation in Zoom.
    • When the ceiling mics are muted and the wireless lapel mic is on, only the wireless lapel mic is heard in the room and in Zoom/Teams calls from the room.
