MS365: How to log into Microsoft Office 365 email

How do I log into my Microsoft Office 365 account?

Answer

1. Log into your MyBSU or MyNTC portal.
2. Then click the Office 365 link/button.
3. Click Continue to Office 365 - Email on the "Office 365 - Email" screen that comes up showing you how to enter your username.
4. Sign into the Microsoft Office 365 page using the following:
   • Students use: YourStarID@go.minnstate.edu
   • Employees (including Student Workers) use: YourStarID@minnstate.edu

      5. Click "Next" and enter your StarID password.

      6. If you haven't already set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) you will be prompted to set that up next (Here is more information about setting up MFA) If you have MFA set up you will be prompted to receive a phone call or code to finish signing in.

      7. You'll be presented with the following screen:

      8. Click Apps on the left hand side and find Outlook

      9. Click the 3 dots and select Pin to save Outlook on the left hand side

      10. Outlook will now be easily accessible when logging in
