
Bridgeman 100 is a smart classroom that seats 100 people and is equipped with a projector, sound system, computer, document camera, DVD player, two wireless microphones, iPad Zoom controller, and a touch screen control system.
Connecting a laptop
- Turn on the touch panel by pressing it anywhere. You may need to press harder than you think.
- Power up the laptop. Choose the laptop input on the touch panel.
- Connect the HDMI cable that extends from the top of the media cabinet to the correct port on the laptop. An adapter may be necessary if the laptop does not have an HDMI port.
- If the laptop display is not shown, configure the laptop to send output to a second display. Windows key + P will bring up display options on Windows machines.
- Adjust the volume on the touch panel if playing audio or including a remote audience.
Using the in-room computer
- Turn on the touch panel by pressing it anywhere. You may need to press harder than you think.
- Press Room PC to display the room computer.
- Adjust the volume on the touch panel or on the computer itself.
Using the DVD player
- Turn on the touch panel by pressing it anywhere.
- Press the DVD button.
- Insert the DVD disc you wish to show, and press play on the touch screen panel.
- Adjust the volume on the touch panel.
Using the document camera
- Turn on the touch panel by pressing it anywhere.
- Turn on the document camera.
- Press the document camera button on the touch panel.
- Place the document or item to be shown on the bed of the document camera. Adjust zoom and light as needed.
Turn off system
- Press the shut down button on the touch panel.
- Confirm or cancel the shutdown.
- The touch panel and connected devices will go to sleep shortly.
