Sattgast 236: Smart Room Instructions

Sattgast 236 is a smart classroom and lab that is equipped with a projector, sound system, and document camera.

Connecting a laptop

1. Turn on the projector with the Sony remote.
2. Connect the VGA cable or HDMI cable to the correct port on your laptop. Note that Mac laptops will require an adaptor. If using the VGA cable, connect the audio cable
3. Press input B on the Sony remote if you are using the VGA cable, or input D if you are using the HDMI cable.
4. If the laptop is not showing on the screen, check your display settings.

Using the document camera

1. Turn on the projector with the Sony remote.
2. Press input D on the Sony remote to set the input to HDMI.
3. Turn on the document camera by pressing the power button.
4. Place the document or item beneath the camera.
5. If the image is not displaying, make sure the HDMI Cable is connected to the back of the document camera.

Turning off the system

1. Turn off the projector by pressing the Standby button on the Sony remote.
2. If you used the document camera, turn it off by pressing the power button.
