Bangsberg 119 is a tiered hyflex classroom with a tracking camera, and seating for 40 people at movable tables and chairs.

Connecting at the Instructor Podium
This room uses a single USB-C cable for presenting in the room and for connecting Zoom microphones and cameras in the room. Plug the USB-C cable into your laptop.
Tap the touch panel to wake it up and then select the Laptop input. If your laptop is unable to project in the room after 10 seconds, it is likely missing a necessary driver. For instructions on how to install that driver, go to the DisplayLink Driver installation article.
The USB-C cable is the only one needed to display in this room and to access the videoconferencing cameras and microphones. If the Wireless input is selected on the touch panel, no cable is required to connect the laptop to the projector. However, the wireless option does not allow access to the camera or microphones; to utilize those devices, the USB-C cable must be connected, and the room devices must be selected in Zoom during the meeting start-up.
Using Zoom for Lecture Recording or Remote Audiences
There are cameras positioned at the back and the front of the room, which should be used for a Zoom audience and for recording lectures. The primary Zoom microphones are in the ceiling, but you may also use the lapel microphone for Zoom and especially if you want to lift your voice in the room itself.
- Ensure you are connected with the USB-C cable
- Start your Zoom meeting from the Zoom Workplace app on your laptop. During start-up, you'll be asked to choose your audio and video devices in Zoom.
- Audio: For the microphone, choose Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (TesiraFORTE). For the speaker, choose Crestron.

- Video: For the camera, choose AVer TR211 for the instructor camera.

- Start the meeting and test the operation of the audio and video using the Test Microphone and Speaker option under the audio settings caret.
- If you plan to record the lecture, choose the Record option in Zoom, and then select Record to Cloud.
- For the best experience for those on Zoom or watching the recording, use the wireless lapel microphone, and zoom the camera in far enough to capture the speaker's facial expressions.
- When sharing video or audio in Zoom, be sure to select the two checkboxes labeled "Share sound" and "Optimize for video sharing" in the sharing window (upper-right corner)

To Adjust the In-Room Cameras
Tap the Cameras button in the top right corner of the touch panel to access the camera controls.
- Select your active camera - Instructor-facing or Audience-facing.
- Turn on or off the camera tracking feature for the Instructor camera. The tracking feature is activated by a focus point and its motion, not by sound or voice.
- When tracking is turned off, the pan/tilt/zoom buttons become available for adjustment.
- Tap the Cameras button again to return to the main touch panel screen.

To Adjust the In-Room Microphones
Tap the Microphone button in the top right corner of the touch-panel to access the in-room microphone controls.
- If using the wireless lapel mic found at the instructor station, ensure the device itself is turned on and unmuted before adjusting these controls.
- Adjust the muting and sensitivity of the wireless lapel mic to suit your voice and positioning.
- Turn on/off the muting of the ceiling mics in the room when you do not want local audience participation in Zoom.
- When the ceiling mics are muted and the wireless lapel mic is on, only the wireless lapel mic is heard in the room and in Zoom/Teams calls from the room.
