Create a Randomized Quiz in D2L

Creating Random quizzes ensures that each student will receive a unique set of questions. By creating question pools within a quiz, a select number of questions can be pulled from a set of questions stored in the Question Library. Therefore, you must create or import questions into the Question Library before you can create a random quiz.

Once questions are created or imported into the Question Library, you will create a new quiz, and then create a question pool in the quiz. You will specify how many questions from the pool each student should receive. The question pool will then randomly select this number of questions for each student.

You would then create a question pool for each chapter and select how many questions you want pulled from each chapter. Remember, each chapter quiz would first need to be imported into a section of the Question Library.
